Terms of trade for Wells Motorcycles:

Scope of Services:

Wells Motorcycles provides motorcycle, servicing, repairs, and maintance to customers in North and the wider Canterury regions.

Orders and Payments: (refer to our Terms of payment policy for more information)

• Orders for parts or services can be placed either in person, through our ‘contact us’ section on website or contacting Wells Motorcycles on 0276677090 or info@wellsmotorcycles.co.nz
• All payments are due according to the terms set out on each customers individual invoice.

Pricing:

All prices for parts, and services are subject to change without notice and can be requested by contacting Wells Motorcycles directly- prices will be quoted on an inividual basis taking into account location of the bike, work required, number of bikes at the location and parts required.

Late and Cancelation fees

• Payments not received by the due date as outlined on the emailed invoice will receive contact via a phone call. If payment isn’t made within 24 hours of this phone call, a late payment fee of $50 will be added to the invoice each week (5 working days) that passes.
• Cancelation fees will apply to any service canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the booked appointment- these Cancelation fees will be the agreed upon gate fee and one hour labour including GST.

Returns and Refunds:

• Returns of parts are accepted within 30 days of purchase, provided they are in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase.
• Refunds for returned items will be issued in the original form of payment, minus any applicable restocking fees.
• No refunds or returns are available for services provided for example servicing costs, labour or gate/ travel fees.
• No refunds on used motorcycles sold through Wells Motocycles will be accepted, unless required to under the consumer and fair trade act

Warranties and Guarantees:

• New motorcycles are covered by manufacturer warranties, the details of which are provided with the motorcycle at the time of purchase from the original dealer.
• Used motorcycles sold by our business are sold ‘as is were is’. All used motocycles will be avalible to view and test ride prior to purchase
• Our business guarantees the quality of services provided and will rectify any issues arising from faulty workmanship at no additional cost to the customer.

Liability and Indemnity:

• Our business takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of customers and their property during motorcycle servicing, repairs, and maintence.
• Customers assume all risks associated with operating motorcycles and agree to release our business from any liability for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of our products or services.
• Wells Motorcycles has public liabilty cover of $2million

Privacy and Data Protection:

• Our business respects customer privacy and will only use personal information collected for the purpose of fulfilling orders, providing services, or communicating with customers.
• Customer information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with the customer's explicit consent.

• Our business reserves the right to amend or update these terms of trade at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon publication on our website or other official channels.
• Customers will be notified of any significant changes to these terms of trade in advance.

These terms of trade outline the rights and responsibilities of both the onsite and on-farm motorcycle business and its customers, ensuring clear and transparent transactions.

Terms of payment for Wells Motorcycles:

Payment Due Date:

Payment for motorcycle services is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing between the customer and the business, more specific payment terms will be outlined on the customers invoice.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Wells Motocylce business accepts payment by cash, credit/debit card, electronic funds transfer, or other agreed-upon methods. All payments vis credit/debit card will incur a transaction fee.

Estimates:

Estimates for motorcycle services, repairs and mainitence will be provided by the Wells Motorcycles upon request and are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise specified- These will be estimates only, no set quotes will be provided.

Deposit Requirements:

For certain services or larger projects, the business may require a deposit before work begins. The amount of the deposit will be specified in writing at the time of booking.

Late Payments:

• Payments not received by the due date as outlined on the invoice may be subject to late fees or interest charges, as outlined in the terms of trade or as agreed upon in writing.

    Disputed Charges:

• Customers who dispute charges for motorcycle services must notify the business within seven days of receiving the invoice.
• The business will investigate any disputed charges promptly and work with the customer to resolve the issue in a fair and timely manner.

• Customers who need to cancel or reschedule a booked service appointment must provide at least 24 hours' notice.
• Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the customer being charged a cancellation fee, as outlined in the terms of trade or as agreed upon in writing.

• Customers with outstanding balances for all services or parts will be notified promptly and may be subject to additional charges or collection efforts if payment is not received within a reasonable timeframe.

Receipts and Invoices:

• Customers will receive a detailed invoice via email for all services parts and travel/gate cost, including a breakdown of charges and any applicable tax and GST.
• Upon request, customers may also receive a receipt confirming payment in full.

• Our business reserves the right to amend or update these terms of trade at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon publication on our website or other official channels.
• Customers will be notified of any significant changes to these terms of trade in advance.
